Veneta Cucine is an Italian industrial group founded in 1967 in the province of Treviso. Today, it is Italy’s largest kitchen furniture manufacturing platform, with over 120,000 m² of production facilities and a well-established international presence.

  • Modulblok designed an automated pallet warehouse for storing and handling pallets containing kitchen furniture and components, configured to accommodate a wide range of load units.

Key Benefits

High storage capacity for non-standard products

A system featuring over 3,200 storage decks arranged across 13 levels, designed to accommodate large furniture units and components while ensuring high storage density and efficient space utilisation.

Operational efficiency and automated material flows

Automated handling via seven stacker cranes, installed in two phases between 2014 and 2015, ensures continuous put-away and retrieval cycles.

Optimisation of available space

Extending to a height of 11 metres across an area of approximately 2,800 m², the multi-level configuration maximises storage capacity without requiring additional floor space.

Scalability and phased system development

Implemented in two successive phases—five stacker cranes followed by two additional units—the system was able to evolve in line with increasing production requirements.
