Industry associations and technical representation
Operating within a regulated environment requires constant engagement with the industrial ecosystem and its governing bodies. For this reason, Modulblok is a member of AISEM – Italian Association of Lifting, Handling and Storage Systems, which represents the leading companies in the intralogistics sector within ANIMA Confindustria. Within AISEM, the company is part of the technical section CISI – Italian Industrial Racking Manufacturers, contributing to technical exchange among manufacturers and alignment with international standards.
Regulatory alignment and European standards
Participation in technical networks ensures alignment with key European regulations and internationally defined standards.
In particular, our activities are developed in accordance with FEM (European Materials Handling Federation) standards and the main European regulations for industrial racking systems, including:
- EN 15512 (structural design)
- EN 15635 (use and maintenance)
- EN 16681 (seismic design)
This continuous engagement ensures that design criteria remain up to date and that consistency is maintained between design, verification, and real operating conditions.
Process control and material traceability
Structural quality is also ensured through rigorous control of production processes. Modulblok operates as an accredited Transformation Centre under the Italian Central Technical Service (Consiglio Superiore dei Lavori Pubblici), in compliance with DM 14/01/2008 – Italian Building Standards. This role ensures:
