EcoVadis Bronze Medal 2026: another step forward in Modulblok’s ESG journey

At a time when sustainability is no longer a buzzword but a fundamental requirement for accessing new business opportunities, assessment frameworks such as EcoVadis are playing an increasingly important role in shaping corporate strategies and driving organisational change. But what does it actually mean to be evaluated by EcoVadis?
An international standard for measuring sustainability
EcoVadis is one of the world’s leading ESG assessment platforms, used by more than 130,000 companies across over 180 countries to evaluate and benchmark sustainability performance throughout the global supply chain. Its international reach and comparable methodology have made EcoVadis ratings an increasingly important requirement in customer-supplier relationships across many industries.
The platform’s primary objective is to provide an independent, reliable, and comparable assessment of a company’s environmental, social, and ethical performance. To achieve this, EcoVadis evaluates organisations against 21 criteria grouped into four key themes: Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. The methodology is aligned with internationally recognised frameworks and standards, including the United Nations Global Compact, ILO conventions, GRI standards, and ISO 26000.
The assessment goes beyond the review of internal documentation such as policies, actions, and sustainability reports. It also incorporates information from qualified external sources, including NGOs, trade unions, and international organisations, helping to ensure a high level of transparency, objectivity, and credibility.
For companies operating in complex industrial environments, the ability to rely on transparent, analytical, and internationally recognised assessment tools is becoming increasingly important. It is a reality that Modulblok understands well.
A continuous improvement journey driven by measurable progress
In 2026, Modulblok was awarded the EcoVadis Bronze Medal, confirming its position among the top 35% of companies assessed worldwide and achieving an overall score of 68/100. The result reflects a sustainability journey that continues to evolve, with improvements recorded in three of the four assessment themes and the consolidation of performance in the fourth. It is a recognition that highlights the consistency between Modulblok’s industrial vision and its commitment to responsible.
